Workshop will be held  in the Department of  Mathematical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran, October 21, 2009. Topics include all aspects of topological combinatorics. Especially, we focus on the Borsuk-Ulam theorem and its generalizations. We introduce several applications of the Borsuk-Ulam theorem in combinatorics.

  1. Jafar Shaffaf, An Introduction to Algebraic Topology

  2. Ali Kamalinejad, The Borsuk-Ulam Theorem and its Generalizations

  3. Ali Taherkhani, Applications of the Borsuk-Ulam Theorem

  4. Meysam Alishahi, Kneser's Conjecture and its Generalization

  5. Hossein Hajiabolhassan, Combinatorial Generalizations of the Borsuk-Ulam Theorem

  6. Moharam N. Iradmusa, Circular Coloring and Colorful K_{l,m} Theorem

  7. Hossein Hajiabolhassan, Graph Colorings via the Borsuk-Ulam Theorem
